What is Blastball?
Blastball is a unique introduction to baseball for 4 year old players. The emphasis of the game is fun yet provides the basic skills required to play baseball. Players learn to hit the ball off a tee, field a hit ball and throw the ball. Players play in groups of about 6 players. Each week the session will run 1 hour.
What is Jr T-Ball?
Jr. T-Ball is a hybrid of the fundamental skills and games played in Blastball and more traditional games played in T-Ball. Players will rotate between a practice station and 2 mini game stations each week.
What is T-Ball?
T-Ball is probably a lot like you remember as a kid. Teams play a game where the batter hits off a tee and fielders attempt to throw or tag runners out. Game scores and stardings are not kept. The intention is for the players to have fun and enjoy the game in a non-competitive environment.
What is Coach Pitch?
Coach Pitch is similar to T-Ball with the change to a Coach "pitching" to the batter. A coach will stand near the traditional pitching position and throw an underhand "pitch" to the batter. Each batter is allowed a pre-determined number of pitches and if unsuccessful a tee may be used to allow the player to put the ball in play. Most other T-Ball rules remain the same.
What is Rookie Ball?
Rookie Ball involves the use of a pitching machine in place of a pitcher. Batters are allowed up to 5 pitches to put a ball in play. Most other baseball rules are used.
What is Mosquito?
Mosquito is the first year a player from the opposite team will pitch to a batter. Most other baseball rules are used.
